POLICIES FREIGHT DAMAGE POLICY Upon receipt of your products, we ask that you inspect for damage immediately and notify eMiniblind.com within 14 calendar days. If circumstances prevent you from installing the blinds prior to the 14-day time period, please be sure to inspect for damage within the 14-day time period. After that time period, we will be unable to remake the product at no charge. After being notified we will immediately remake the damaged part of your order at no charge and issue a call tag for the damaged product if the following steps are followed: Note any damage on the delivery receipt when receiving a product and notify eMiniblind.com within 14 days. Note even the slightest damage or imperfection in the condition of the box on the delivery receipt; this could indicate "concealed damage". DO NOT REFUSE THE SHIPMENT. If the damage is not discovered until after the delivery, you will only have 14 days to notify eMiniblind.com in order to have a new product sent at no cost. After the 14 days, eMiniblind.com will remake, but it will be at your cost. We apologize for inconvenience this may cause you, but we are unable to recover the freight damage after this period. If you do refuse the order, we will have to wait for it to be returned to eMiniblind.com to inspect for damage and then reship to you. We cannot remake a refused order before inspecting. Remember, if you accept the order and you inspect it at your location we can remake it at that time. Damaged orders are aggravating to everyone. We appreciate you follow these procedures so that you can receive your replacement product and eMiniblind.com can collect from the freight carrier who damaged your product.
RETURN GOODS AUTHORIZATION (CALL TAG) An RGA is required to return products for any reason other than damage (see Freight Damage Policy). An RGA must be obtained from our customer service department. Merchandise sent to eMiniblind.com without an RGA will be refused. The RGA enables our receiving department to anticipate your package's arrival and to know how it is to be routed to assure prompt processing. Poorly packaged merchandise is often damaged in return shipment. Horizontal and wood blinds are especially vulnerable. The tilter will damage the slats if not shielded by a piece of cardboard or plastic foam. It is a good idea to save the original packaging material until you are sure that you are satisfied with the product. When making a return, please package the product carefully, as you will be held responsible for any damage that is incurred due to poor packaging. RGA's will be cancelled if package is not received within 30 days.
CANCELLATIONS If it is necessary to cancel an order, please cancel the following business day. All products are custom made and once the production has begun the product is of no use other than to fill the original order. Upon cancellation you will be issued a cancellation number. Please record the number for future reference.
COLOR VARIATIONS Even though strict quality standards are maintained to minimize color variations, we recommend that you not attempt exact color matches from your sample book/online images. It is a fact, that regardless of the industry, color changes are a reality from lot to lot. We also recommend ordering all blinds for the same room at the same time. We cannot guarantee exact color matching between orders and will not warranty this.
WARRANTIES 1" and 2" Custom Blinds Warranty eMiniblind.com warrants the original purchaser, that the product(s) manufactured by eMiniblind.com are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and as long as the product remains in the original window. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser, for as long as the purchaser owns the product.
eMiniblind.com's obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product we produced at our discretion. In no event shall eMiniblind.com be responsible for shipping, removal or reinstallation costs of the product or any consequential damages. This warranty shall not apply to products exposed to misuse, improper installation or extreme conditions. Exposure to direct sun may fade the product in time and is considered normal wear and tear. There may be variations in color, grain texture and slight warping from slat to slat. These are natural characteristics of wood and are not considered defects.
